Want a free lunch? Love a good conversation? This October, Reno Tech Alley is announcing the new “Hack Chat” program!

We Tech Alley organizers know there are great conversations happening, right now, all around the city. We know companies want to reward those conversations to reinforce their PR, market their products, or hire you in the future. To bring these together, we’ve asked these companies to sponsor our Lunch Rewards program, and they’re saying YES!

How might I get a free lunch you ask?

  1. Spread the word in a tweet, post, insta, snap, etc. with:

“May we treat you to lunch? Enjoy good conversations? Join us at Tech Alley this October to kickstart “Tech Lunch” and your next lunch could be sponsored! #TechLunch #Reno … oh, and free drinks for presenters 😎”

  1. Enjoy lunch with friends and colleagues, anywhere.
  2. Share your conversation in a blog, podcast, video, whatever medium you prefer.
  3. Present at Tech Alley where you’ll be judged by your peers.
  4. The Winners’ next conversation will be sponsored!

Questions? Tweet @TechAlleyEvents and let’s keep the good conversations going!

Why are we organizing Tech Lunch?

I love geeking out. Doesn’t matter where I am, if I love the topic I’ll dive down that rabbit hole with you. We all have something we can’t help but get excited about. I want more people to have these conversations they love, I want them to be easy to find, and we should enjoy the whole experience.

Personally, I love a good conversation over lunch, but good conversations can happen anywhere. Lunch costs money. Driving costs money. Getting together costs money. Money is a big barrier to good conversations, and money can help scale the number of good conversations around us.

How?

Sponsors want to know their money is pointed in the right direction. If you’re a recruiter at Tesla, you want more of the right people applying. If you work PR, you want more of the right people absorbing your message. If you run a co-working space, you want remote and transit workers visiting and applying.

What if every good conversation had a sponsor?

Welcome to Tech Lunch 😎
